Ergonomic Drafting Chair with Adjustable Footrest & PU Armrests - Swivel Rolling Office Chair for Computer Work, Desk Tasks & Home Office - Black

I needed a chair that could be used at different heights and this was the perfect choice. I can use it at my kitchen counter, my sewing table, my desk and my dinning room table. I had a problem with the lock not working to keep it at different heights after about 6 months and contacted support. They offered to send me a new gas rod so hopefully that fixes the issue because I really love this chair.I bought this chair to address being able to occasionally sit at my elevated standing desk. The chair is cute. It was relatively easy to put together until I got to the arms and I had difficulty because one of the screw holes appeared to be rusted. I like the height, but the chair doesn't provide great support for my back. The wheels also do this weird thing where they lock as soon as you sit in the chair, so you can't roll in the chair while you're sitting in it. Still trying to make a determination about whether I just love it or what.Back is not tall enough. Chair is stiff. Back of chair is short. Piston failed on me. They had to send a second piston. Return policy is crap. It cost more to send the chair back then it cost.I got the chair very quickly and it was out together within an hour. The next day within 2 hours of sitting in it the adjustment clynder gave out. I chose this chair because on the large weight limit and I'm 240 or so. Support asked of the item number sent it to them and they stopped replying. I bought some stoppers to help keep the chair at the height needed because of comfort but don't want your money on this chair if you sit at draft height desk.I have an electric desk that this chair is perfect for. It is comfortable and the lumbar support is great. I did not give it 5 stars because the armrests are a little low and I have short arms. I wished the arms were adjustable.A bit of a task assembling but directions supplied made it reasonably easy. For the price it is of good quality and I specifically wanted the weight load caster stop function as on a very had and potentially slippery floor surface. That function works well. Gas cylinder for raising and lowering a be weaker than I thought, at 210 Lbs. when 1st sitting it compresses about 3/4 of an inch before stopping. For a lighter person not an issue. Overall for this price point I would give it a 9 out of 10 ...Wheels lock - not known until purchased - very disappointing! No instructions in first 2 boxes - not until 3rd box opened! Beautiful, comfortable chairs - purchased for kitchen counter/bars. Want to find out how to unlock wheels or buy wheels that don't lock...I thought it was cloth. It wasn't. It is a very nice soft faux leather material. Very happy with the whole chair for the price. Gets to a nice height. Appreciate the footrest. Leather covers for the metal arms are a bit weird, but keep you from setting your arms on cold metal. Has a decent lean. Seems sturdy. I sit in it frequently during the day while working from home. Sitting in it right now.
