I purchased a Claire Chase leather executive Briefcase a few weeks back for my husband - 2 of his co-workers already had one - 2 years old and 4 years respectively. He had been jealous of their bags that still look amazing and have held up so well. I actually lost the strap when I was examining the case ( it came with a very nice one by the way ) I reached out to the manufacturer and the lady in customer service sent me a new strap free of charge ! I was impressed - Upon getting the strap they sent me a card adding 2 more years to my warranty !It takes a lot to impress me and I don't normally write reviews, but I can wholeheartedly recommend this Briefcase and Claire Chase as a company !This is a good bag for people who want a briefcase they can carry their laptop in, without sacrificing the "business" presentation of most canvas or plastic laptop bags. The only drawback is that it is not quite as spacious as it might appear. There is still plenty of room for the laptop and chords, pens, wallet, phone, etc...But the compartment for files doesn't expand quite as much as one might think. It is still big enough for my purposes, so I am quite happy, but if you're going to carry your laptop and lots of files or a plastic binder, it might be tough to fit everything. Other than that, a great bag!This was purchased as a gift. Fortunately I get to see it every day and it appears to be very good quality and the recipient is pleased with it. I will review again after it has been in use for a while.Awesome soft leather bag, like a baby's bottom. Fits my XPS 14 and ipad easily, along with loads of other diverse IT stuff... can't go wrong with Claire Chase!for my husband and he LOVES it.....travels well....so far!This is the perfect briefcase. Expensive enough to be of excellent quality but not too expensive that you have to baby it and watch every bump. This bag is roomy, the leather is nice, and the bag is not stiff. Nice and thoughtfully planned compartments to use.Very good quality, well constructed and very durable. Plenty of room for a laptop, ipad, chargers and more and my 17" laptop fits perfectly. Very pleased. I would highly recommend this model.ok - a lot of money and I still use the bag that came with my Dell computer 10 years ago which had better storage.
