I had been looking for an "L" shaped desk for my home office for many weeks and was just about to settle on one I thought would be okay, when I found the Tangkula L Shaped Office Desk on Amazon and knew I found the desk I had been searching for with everything I wanted my new desk to have. It arrived 3 days early and my husband was very surprised that it was built so well, all of the holes lined-up and the parts and hardware were as nice as they were. The seller, COSTWAY, is a name we will remember when buying furniture going forward as this desk is very impressive and built to last. He put it together in about 2 hours with the spot-on directions that were included. The size it perfect for me and I have ample room to type on the keyboard, write using the desk on the side or push the keyboard drawer in and write on the desktop above the keyboard, and there is a lot of storage in the large drawers and cabinet. The bottom drawer comes with hanging file bars already attached, so it was all ready for me to hang my folders in it. The wood is really smooth (it appears rough and bumpy, but it is all in the stain), and I don't need to worry about leaving writing indents on the wood as there is no way that will happen because the wood isn't soft at all. The color is beautiful and the price was AMAZING!! I think my favorite part of the desk besides the sturdiness, is the pull-out keyboard. I have never used a keyboard drawer before and find it very comfortable and secure to type on. The gliders on the drawers and the keyboard open and close very smoothly and appear to be top-of-the-line. I actually can't find anything wrong with this desk as I find it perfect in every way, and am glad I didn't just settle on another desk because it was a few dollars less. This is a desk I will pass down to my kids or grandkids some day. I highly recommend this desk and the seller, COSTWAY.Nothing special about the desk. The price was okay for what it is. The developer should have put more thought into the screw placements. They designed it to show. The desk looks nicer without them showing like a soar thumb.Cons: some parts were damaged when received. Many parts and took quite awhile to put together and that’s 2 people working on it. The file drawer isn’t large enough for standard size. Pros: desk looks beautiful when all put together.The drawer that is supposed to hold hanging folders is too small and will not fit a normal letter size folder.Great desk for the price. Took me a few hours to build but my wife was satisfied with the finished product.The desk looks good and is sturdy, the downfall is the file folder drawer.
