Good little desk if you don’t need a lot of drawer space. Looks very nice also.bought this for my daughters bedroom, and it's perfect. It's sturdy, a good size, and really cute! if you're on the fence, just but this. it's the best bang for your buck. I bought the dresser/desk combo, and i'm totally happy with both pieces.Well I never thought this desk would actually fall apart as easily as this one did when we attempted to move it to another location, it did just that. So if you’re buying this, plan to never put it on carpet and never move it. :)No dislikes, assembly was easy and very clear. All screws were lined up. No problems. Looks great, very sturdy.I like desk alot, easy to put together and beautiful once done. However wood chips easily as I use the top of desk, also drawer was made too large and doesn't fit and so is crooked next to the keyboard drawer. Metal also chips. But worth it for the money and still a great desk.Easy to put together and very nice. It’s not meant to be moved multiple times, so put it together close to where you plan on keeping it. If it’s going to be on a hard floor it can be moved, but carpet makes it a little more difficultI wanted a desk that had a drop down tray and didn't take up too much room. This desk worked really well in both areas. The only reason I gave the assembly a "4" is because the front of the drawer was too high and kept hitting the top of the desk. Simple fix, just moved the sliding brackets down a bit and got it to close properly.I'll start with the problems --(1) As other reviewers noted, the back is not finished; it's just particle board, so you may find it unattractive if you do not put it against a wall. I stained the back myself, which made it look OK, though not great.(2) The oak veneer is extremely easy to damage, and will wear down to particle board over time with daily use. I've had mine for about five years, and there are several patches where there is no more veneer.(3) It is very heavy and its joints are relatively fragile. It is normally in no danger of collapse, but our movers had a hard time with it, and one of them dropped it lightly, causing the side to separate. I was able to repair it with L brackets, however. On the other hand --It looked nice starting out, and is quite a solid piece of furniture when stationary. My cat jumps on the keyboard tray all the time, and it supports her weight easily. The concealment of the keyboard tray in a drawer makes it look tidy, and it offers a lot of work space without being bulky. The tray is at a comfortable height for typing, and it has space for both a mousepad and a keyboard. There is easily space underneath of the desk for a desktop tower, even if the computer is mounted on something to keep it off the floor.Summary -- Though I am slightly disappointed with how shabby it has come to look over time, I would certainly buy again. For the price, it is a functionally useful desk that offers both a large work surface and a good set up for a desktop computer. Its a decent desk. The top is 1" pressboard which is good. The instructions are good and the all the parts were included. The right drawer adjustment was helpful. It arrived in good condition with only minor chips. However, the quality control and engineering falls was lacking. Examples: 1. The use of cam dowel vs the cam screw for the heavy top. A cam dowel may have the potential to get pulled out if the desk was lifted by the top. Something that was considered with the 3 angle brackets they added but only at the back with none in the front. 2. The angle brackets have vertical slots. Not sure why a slot was needed if they drilled the hole in the correct spot. 3. The holes for the keyboard drawer were not drilled as long as the screws resulting in damage to the screw heads. I barely got them in before they were not longer useable.4. The holes for the small drawer were too large and thus the screws were useless. Fortunately I had some larger screws. 5. Why didn't they have a few screws in the back for the drawer upright? So a solid desk that looks ok which could be better with a bit of effort and thus the 3 vs a 4.This is not a fancy desk and note that the back is not finished (so it should go against a wall). I ordered one unit of this desk and there was small damage to one of the side panals (the box had a hole which really looke more like a scratch. We assembled it anyways and the holes were drilled incorrectly so the table was on an angle (returned). we thought we would try again and the second unit was perfect. This is not a high quality item, its not expensive but clean and serves it's purpose.Everything seems to work. Drawers are not magnetic but are easy to adjust for that perfect look.Careful when moving this item assembled it does not seem built to me moved around too much (not so sturdy when moving).Me gustó el diseño, es muy bonito. <3Decent item. Assembly is tedious and complicated, but the instructions are meticulous (really very good) and detailed. Helps if you go slowly and check instructions carefully as you go. A few scratches on the finished edges coming out of the box (hard to avoid, this is veneer on particle board.) My two main issues are that the drawer for my unit doesn't quite clear the top of desk easily (have to jiggle it to move in and out) and there's no hole for any cords for mouse or keyboard (silly, when there's a keyboard tray - not everyone uses wireless) - I had to drill a hole in the back (suboptimal, as this is engineered wood / particle board, so hard to get a nice edge.) Overall, I'm reasonably happy with it.
